北米を拠点に活動するeスポーツチーム「100 Thieves」のVALORANT部門からec1s、BabyJが脱退し、新たにbang、jcStaniがローン契約で加入したことが発表されています。

昨月、ec1s (ex-Liquid, NiP)、BabyJ (ex-FaZe) と新たに契約しVALORANT部門の再編成を行った100 Thievesですが、本日2月22日、両者と契約終了を発表。VALORANT Champions Tour 2022 North America Stage 1 Challengersが進行中の現在ですが、両者が100 Thievesとして出場した公式戦は僅か2試合で、Cloud9に2-0、The Guardに2-1で敗北しています。
昨日には100 ThievesのCEOを務めるNadeshotが自身のTwitterで「あの試合のパフォーマンスは受け入れられません。他に言うことは特にありませんが、ありえないことです。」と投稿しており、今回のメンバー変更は試合結果を受けての変更と見られています。

今回契約終了が発表されたec1sは「残念な結果ですが、必要な変更だと思います。チーム内で相互作用は発生しておらず、それを真摯に受け止め前に進んだ方がチームにとって良い決断だと思います。」とコメント。「私はまだ北米に滞在しますが、IGLを欲しているチームはありませんでしょうか？」と、今後も北米で活動を続ける意向を明らかにしています。

また、新たに加入したbang、jcStaniは、TSM、Pioneersからローン契約で移籍する形になり、BabyJに代わりセンチネルはHiko、ec1sに代わりIGLにはEthanの就任が発表されています。
bang、jcStaniが加入した100 Thievesのラインナップは以下になります。チームは、2月28日にLuminosity Gaming、3月7日にXSET、3月13日にEvil Geniusesと対戦予定です。
