韓国を拠点に活動するeスポーツチームであるGen.G Esportsは7月9日、VALORANT部門にEfinaが加入し、アカデミー部門からRaxcaLがメインチームに昇格したことを発表しました。先日契約を終了したLakia、手首の負傷により選手活動を休止中のZynXに代わり、ロスターに加わります。

現在25歳のEfinaは、Quantum StrikersやTNL Esports、F4Q、IAMなどでプレイしてきた韓国のベテラン選手の1人で、昨年5月に加入したT1 AcademyではVCK 2025 Split 3で優勝を果たしています。センチネルやイニシエーターを得意とし、その柔軟性を武器に多数の韓国チームを支えてきました。今回脱退したLakiaに代わり、IGLとしてスターティングメンバーに加わります。
また、現在18歳のRaxcaLは2008年生まれで、先月18歳を迎えたばかりの韓国の若手有望選手の1人です。FN Esports、ONSIDE GAMINGを経て、2026年2月にGen.G Academyに加入し、デュエリストとしてチームをけん引してきました。Gen.Gの新ロスターのデュエリスト枠はRaxcaLとエースであるt3xtureの2名を中心に運用される方針です。新たに2人が加入したGen.Gのロスターは以下になります。
